Responsibilities
- Travel to customer sites to install, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on customer equipment.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including warranty, safety, environmental, OSHA, DOT Hazmat, and ISO
9000. - Operate material handling equipment per OSHA requirements.
- Maintain a safe, orderly, and clean working environment.
- Maintain records of performance reports.
- Interact with all levels of people, both inside and outside the company.
- Develop and conduct training on safe equipment operations and demonstrate skills to trainees, both team members and customers.
- Act as a communication link between the customer and the company to ensure effective service.
- Provide the highest quality of service to assure customer satisfaction.
- Generate substantial annual revenues.
- Operate without direct supervision.
- Perform basic arithmetic in all units of measure (whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals).
- Complete compliance and job‑specific training.
- Replace defective parts, reassemble and repair batteries and related equipment; install new equipment at customer facilities according to specifications.
- Provide on‑site technical assistance to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Complete timely reporting of all activities, including service reports, expense reports, quality alerts, and maintenance reports to the company.
- Be directly responsible for company assets, including a service vehicle, parts inventory, tools, and test equipment.
- Cat5, cable, cabling, cable installation, cable puller, punchdown, structured cabling, cable tech, low voltage.
Skills & Qualifications
- Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic (or related) if applicable to location.
- Basic electrical understanding.
- Use of test equipment and reading schematics.
- Hands‑on job experience.
- Experience substantively in the electrical related field where applicable.
Job Requirements
- Must be able and willing to do overnight travel.
- Must operate a forklift and work in a plant/warehouse environment with varying conditions.
- Must frequently bend, twist, reach, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- Must differentiate colors.
- Must lift up to 50 pounds (23 kilos) continuously daily; heavier items require mechanical assistance or assistance from another employee.
- Must stand for long periods of time.
- Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) properly at all times.
- Must be on‑call.

Pay and BenefitsPay range: $18.00 – $23.00/hr eligible benefits (subject to classification and length of employment) may include:
