Area of work:
Able to drive within a 60 mile radius servicing sites.
Duration: 3 month Contract (with strong extension possibility or conversion)

Engineering Degree Required, strong HVAC skills in refrigeration, strong troubleshooting and maintenance experience
Expenses:
Mileage provided while driving to work sites in the area. Mileage is to the site and between sites is covered. The mileage home is not covered. One direction pay on days they go to sites other than the office address. On days there is no drive to a site, the technician isn’t always required to come to the office address.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC systems
- Install, maintain, and repair heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment
- Conduct system performance tests and ensure units meet manufacturer and code standards
- Perform routine maintenance, including filter changes, coil cleaning, and component inspections
- Provide excellent customer service while explaining repair needs, options, and recommendations
- Complete work orders, service reports, and documentation accurately
- Maintain company tools, vehicles, and equipment in good working condition
- Follow all safety guidelines, company policies, and applicable codes and regulations
- Participate in on call rotation for after‑hours or emergency service
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, management, and customers
- High school diploma or GED
- HVAC trade school certificate or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2+ years experience preferred (or entry level for apprentice roles)
- Valid EPA 608 Certification (Type I, II, or Universal preferred)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals
- Strong customer service and communication abilities
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments, including outdoors, rooftops, and confined spaces
- Experience with smart thermostats and building automation
- Familiarity with both residential and light commercial systems
- Boiler and/or chiller experience
- Electrical and refrigeration background
- Kitchen equipment and/or refrigeration experience
- Field based role with daily travel to customer locations
