Building Maintenance Technician

Area of work

Able to drive within a 60 mile radius servicing sites.

6 month Contract (with intent to hire)

This is a six month contract with the intent to hire permanent should the employee perform well.

Mileage provided while driving to work sites in the area. Mileage is to the site and between sites is covered. The mileage home is not covered. One direction pay on days they go to sites other than the office address. On days there is no drive to a site, the technician isn’t always required to come to the office address.

• Installation and Commissioning:
  Install and commission BAS systems, ensuring all components are correctly integrated and functioning.
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
  Perform regular maintenance and troubleshoot issues with BAS components
• Software Management:
  Download, update, and verify the accuracy of software used in BAS systems.
• Calibration and Testing:
  Calibrate and test HVAC systems and controls to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitoring and Diagnostics:
  Monitor BAS components for efficiency and safety, and provide diagnostics and repairs as needed.
• Staying in compliance of company required trainings.

• A minimum of 3-6 years’ experience in applicable fields: (BAS controls, HVAC controls, Controls Commissioning, PLC Programming).
• Proficiency in HVAC systems, electrical systems, and computer networking.
• Previous experience in BAS or related fields.
• Problem-Solving:
  Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Communication:
  Good communication skills for coordinating with other technicians and stakeholders

• Relevant certifications in HVAC, electrical systems, or BAS technologies
• Tech school Grad or a 4yr degree in Mechanical/Electrical is top pick.
