The Service Electrician is responsible for operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems supporting a mission-critical data center environment. This role helps ensure the reliability, safety, and continuous operation of critical electrical infrastructure while adhering to strict mission-critical procedures and safety standards. The Service Electrician works closely with site operations, Mechanical, Controls, Engineering, and third-party vendors to support uninterrupted facility operations and zero-impact execution.

Required Qualifications

* Minimum 5 years of commercial or industrial electrical experience; data center or mission-critical experience preferred.

* Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems, controls power, critical power infrastructure, and electrical safety practices.

* Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.

* Proficient with electrical testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques.

* Experience working under SOPs, MOPs, EOPs, change control, lockout/tagout, and arc-flash procedures preferred.

* Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.

* High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school preferred.

Preferred Certifications / Training

* Journeyman Electrician license or state-recognized equivalent preferred

* OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred

* NFPA 70E training preferred

* Data center or critical facilities training a plus

Physical Requirements

* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

* Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, and work in electrical and mechanical rooms.

* Ability to climb ladders and work at heights as required.

Work Environment

* Mission-critical data center environment requiring high attention to detail, strict procedural compliance, safety awareness, and documentation accuracy.

* Day shift, Monday-Friday; limited after-hours or emergency support may be required.
