* As a Lead Cable Technician, you will oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network cabling infrastructure within data center environments. In thisrole, you will guide and support a team of technicians, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. You will collaborate with stakeholders, interpret technical documentation, and maintain compliance with industry best practices. This position is ideal for individuals with strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for mentoring others while driving operational excellence.

* What You will Do:

* · Installation/decommissioningof network and cabling infrastructure in a Data Center environment.

· Deliver sustainable and repeatable solutions and processes, always with an eye on improvement.

· Providestructured feedback on project progress to Stakeholders.

· Exhibitquality workmanship on all work and maintain Data Center cleanliness.

· Followall production, safety and quality standards, codes, and industry best practices.

· Collaborate with various Stakeholders to remove project obstacles.

· Reading and comprehending blueprints and building documentation/redline work.

· Broad understanding of Data Center infrastructure technologies.

* What You will Need:

* · Knowledge and use of basic telecom hand tools.

· Mustbe capable of leading a crew of 1-5 technicians.

· Must understand customer service, perform job walks and communicate with customer for job requirements.

· Acceptresponsibility of outcome of work performed by him/her and/or by employee that directly report to him/her.

· Clear understanding of job safety requirements.

· Beable to read and understand job floor plan.

· Shouldbe familiar on wiring schemes and wiring testing.

· Shouldbe able to pull all types of low voltage cables.

· Shouldunderstand and be capable in performing field terminations and labeling.

· Capableof maintaining orderly paperwork, capable of running midsize to large project sand service jobs.

· Possessskill to layout MDF and IDF closets, be able to dress all types of cable and perform all types of terminations and should include basic understanding offiber equipment, all types of cable and fiber terminations.

· Basic understanding of both copper and fiber cable testing and troubleshooting.

· Capableof working in Data Centers.

· Shallbe able to work on analog, DSL, and be able to extend T1 lines.

· Beable to patch network equipment.

· Reportsto Operations Manager and take daily directions from Technician, Technician II,Lead Technicians, Senior Technicians and Advance Senior Technicians.

· Trackand submit timesheets for crew reporting

· Perform job walks

· Maintainingpaperwork and running service jobs

· Copper/Fiber(term, test, splice, troubleshoot)

· Responsiblyof outcome for work

· Trackand submit timesheets for crew

· Effectively communicate with Foreman, Leads, Tech)

· Understandingmetrics/SLA's and able to track

· Knowledge and understanding of network Handover

· Tracklessons learned as they occur

· Coordinates with QAQC on quality status walks

· Knowledge and understanding of Project Close Out

· Identify the tech's strengths and weaknesses
