Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) seeks a Maintenance Trainee, Rail Car to join the Technical Skills Program. The two-year program provides classroom and on-the-job training under mentorship, leading to a Mechanic, grade C, within the CMNT.
Candidates will attend formal training, learn inspection, repair, calibration of WMATA rail cars, document work, and assist supervisors during emergencies while adhering to safety procedures and agency policies.
