Java Developer (Full Time, On Site)

• Design, develop, and implement custom software and database applications for legacy and modernized systems.
• Collaborate with product team members, stakeholders, and end users within Agile Scrum processes.
• Plan, create artifacts, test, and release software in short sprint cycles; participate in sprint reviews and retrospectives.
• Analyze complex project‑related problems, propose innovative solutions, and provide mentoring to junior team members.
• Ensure product quality and delivery timeliness, resolve issues, and report on performance.

• U.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain CBP Public Trust clearance.
• B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems, or related discipline (equivalent experience acceptable).
• At least seven years of technical experience with software design, development, and implementation in a Windows environment.
• Proficiency with Java 8+ (OOP principles, data structures, algorithms) and Spring framework (Boot, MVC, Security).
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs, including versioning and documentation.
• Strong knowledge of Angular, Type Script, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML; ability to create Angular components and services.
• Familiarity with Hibernate (or other ORM), JAX‑RS, web services, JSON, XML, JBoss, Eclipse, Maven, and shell scripting.
• Experience with source control (Git preferred) and database technologies (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server). Conceptual database design skills required.
• Understanding of the full software development life cycle, including planning, requirements management, configuration management, QA, and release management.

• Technical certifications: OCAJP, OCPJP, OCE, OCM, CSM, DOD 8570.
• Experience with HTML, React, Spring, VMware, ETL tools, ESB, message queuing, application security, automated testing, UML, Version One, Jira, Sparx Enterprise Architect, PostgreSQL, Aurora.
• Strong problem‑solving, creativity, and resourcefulness in complex scenarios.
• Proficiency with state management and UI performance optimization in Angular applications.

This position is limited to candidates residing in U.S. states where the company is currently registered to employ team members.

$75,000 – $155,000 annually. Compensation will be determined based on level (Entry, Mid, Senior, SME), experience, education, and internal equity.
