High Sierra Pools, the leader in commercial pool management, is hiring an AREA SUPERVISOR to join our team of aquatics professionals!
Gain hands‑on experience managing lifeguards, supporting pool operations, and helping keep our communities safe while working alongside experienced aquatic managers.
This position requires leadership skills, responsibility, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced outdoor environment.
START DATE – ASAP, END DATE – OCTOBER 30TH
WORK ENVIRONMENT:It’s a fun, fast‑paced environment with a lot of personal interaction. Our staff is multi‑cultural and multi‑generational; supervisors work with experienced aquatics staff and also coach young lifeguards for success in their first jobs.
WHAT YOU’LL DO- Support the daily operation of multiple pool locations
- Assist with managing and scheduling lifeguards
- Provide facility oversight and perform safety checks
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations
- Maintain high standards of customer service
- Communicate with staff, management, and clients
- Help resolve on‑site issues and operational needs
- Complete reports and follow‑ups as required
- Assist with pool operations, staff coordination, and customer support across assigned facilities
You’ll learn how to become an effective leader through strong communication, staff motivation, time management, prioritization, customer service, and conflict‑resolution techniques.
You’ll also receive training to identify and resolve operational issues while ensuring full compliance with health and safety codes.
- Age 18+
- Strong communication skills
- Comfortable working outdoors
- Current Driver’s License
- Valid ARC Lifeguarding / First Aid & CPR / AED for Lifeguards Certification

A company vehicle will be provided, or Lifeguard Supervisors are eligible for reimbursement for business use of a personal car (per eligibility requirements).
A company phone and gas card are provided for business use.
A 6‑day workweek is standard in the industry. Supervisors typically work a mid‑day shift to coincide with pool opening hours.
