We are seeking a hands-on Inventory Specialist who thrives in warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping & receiving, and material handling environments.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both operational warehouse work and inventory management responsibilities — not just data entry. The right candidate will actively manage inventory flow, operate warehouse equipment, support logistics operations, and maintain accurate asset accountability while working in a fast-paced environment.
Position SummaryThe Inventory Specialist oversees day-to-day warehouse operations and managed inventory services for key customers. Responsibilities include receiving, unloading, storing, labeling, tracking, staging, packing, shipping, and delivering inventory and assets while maintaining high levels of accuracy, safety, and operational efficiency.
This position requires hands-on warehouse experience, equipment operation, and the ability to physically manage inventory movement within the warehouse and customer job sites.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily warehouse and inventory operations
- Receive, inspect, label, organize, and store inventory and assets
- Perform shipping & receiving activities including loading/unloading deliveries
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, pallet stackers, and other warehouse equipment safely
- Stage pallets and materials for customer orders and job site deliveries
- Maintain accurate inventory counts, asset tracking, and warehouse organization
- Conduct inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies
- Utilize warehouse management systems and inventory software to track inventory movement
- Support field technicians and operations teams with material fulfillment
- Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure audit readiness
- Assist with warehouse process improvements and operational efficiencies
- Maintain warehouse safety standards and equipment readiness
- Build strong working relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams
- 3+ years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, logistics, or shipping & receiving
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, pallet stackers, or similar warehouse equipment
- Hands-on experience with material handling and warehouse inventory movement
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and asset management
- Experience with inventory systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), or ERP platforms
- Ability to safely lift and move up to 100 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Experience supporting data center, construction, industrial, or infrastructure operations
- Experience with inventory audits and asset tracking
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and operational best practices
- Salesforce or Microsoft Office experience
