Maintenance Electrician

Hours: 4 on 4 off 6am - 6pm / 6pm - 6am alternating days and nights each week

Salary: £39,312 pa

Location: Swadlincote

As a Maintenance Electrician, you'll play a key part in ensuring the production lines and site equipment are reliable, efficient, and safe.

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance
• Respond to breakdowns quickly to minimise downtime
• Overhaul and repair plant machinery including PLCs
• Install and commission new machinery and electrical systems
• Conduct fault finding and problem‑solving to ensure the most effective solutions

• A recognised engineering/electrical qualification (or equivalent experience)
• Previous experience in maintenance within a food production or manufacturing environment
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a methodical approach
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively across teams
• Flexibility, initiative, and the ability to thrive under pressure
