Candidate must have good customer service and communication skills. Previous experience in invoicing and accounting required.

Start date is set for 7/27/2026 but if candidate can be ready to start sooner, that is a plus.

Position has opportunity to transition to permanent for the right candidate.

Medical clearance not required

• Prepare and issue invoices for waste services, including transportation, treatment, and disposal, in accordance with customer contracts and pricing agreements.
• Verify that all supporting documentation (manifests, weight tickets, profiles, purchase orders) is complete and accurate before billing.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations (e.g., EPA, DOT) as they pertain to billing documentation.
• Reconcile discrepancies by working with operations, customer service, and sales teams to resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain detailed records of billing transactions, adjustments, and credits for auditing and regulatory purposes.
• Respond to internal and external billing inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
• Assist with month-end closing activities, revenue reporting, and audit requests.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and participate in cross-functional projects as needed.

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• 2+ years of billing, accounts receivable, or related accounting experience—waste, environmental services, or transportation industry experience strongly preferred.
