Pipe Layer for the Asheboro, NC area project.

• Clean and prepare the construction site to eliminate possible hazards.
• Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, or compact and level earth to grade specifications.
• Lay water lines, stormwater lines, sanitary sewer, and other underground utilities.
• Properly operate hand and power tools, vibratory compactors, small hoist, and basic survey equipment including Laser Level and Transit.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other job‑related duties as required or assigned.

• 1-2 years of pipe‑laying experience preferred.
• Some knowledge of the proper use of equipment, materials, and supplies used on heavy civil construction projects.
• Ability to work in a heavy construction environment, including outdoors and around construction equipment.
• Experience working in such an environment with provided safety equipment and safe work practices.
• Up to 100% of the job may involve heavy physical work, heavy lifting, and pushing or pulling materials that may weigh from 50 to 100 pounds.
• Job requires bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, squatting, crawling, and working in awkward positions or confined spaces throughout the day.
• Job requires unrestricted use of hands, arms, shoulders, upper/lower back, visual acuity, depth, and color perception.
• Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to the work schedule.
• Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
• Provide personal transportation to and from the job site.
