Whatyou'll do
As a teller, you'll serve as a trusted resource for members by providing accurate transaction services, answering questions, and helping connect them with solutions that make banking easier. You'll play an important role in strengthening member relationships while supporting the success of your branch team.
Day to day, you'll:
- Process financial transactions accurately and efficiently while providing outstanding member service.
- Engage members in meaningful conversations to better understand their needs and connect them with appropriate products, services, or specialists.
- Support branch goals by contributing to a welcoming, collaborative, and service‑focused environment.
We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, pays close attention to detail, and takes pride in delivering a great experience.
- Experience working directly with customers in a service‑focused environment.
- Experience handling transactions, cash, records, or other activities requiring a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to provide professional, friendly, and responsive member service.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to accurately process financial transactions and identify discrepancies.
- Proficiency using computer systems and digital tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to follow established procedures, security protocols, and compliance requirements.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Comfortable working in a goal‑oriented environment, adapting to changing priorities, and building positive relationships with members throughout the day.
- One or more years of experience in retail, banking, or financial services.
- Previous sales or referral experience.
- Experience working in a cash‑handling environment.
- Familiarity with member relationship management or appointment‑setting tools.
