Registration Technician

Responsible for recording accurate and pertinent demographic patient information via the Meditech system in a timely manner. Maintains patient confidentiality. Collects copayments and deductibles at the time of service. Works closely with financial counseling to ensure appropriate financial arrangements and authorizations are obtained. Obtains appropriate "reason for visit"/ICD-10 coding documentation from physician's office of Advanced Beneficiary Notice signatures as prescribed by Medicare.

High School Diploma or equivalent. 10 key calculator and keyboarding skills required.

One year experience in a business/medical office required.
