Maintenance Technician12 HR shift 6 am – 6 pm
First 6 months training:
Monday – Friday, 7 am – 3 pm

Job SummaryResponsibilities include installations, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance and calibration of electrical, electronic, electro‑mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems used in manufacturing tungsten carbide, HSS and ceramic tools, and facility equipment. The role follows general work instructions, standardized practices and procedures, and receives supervision of progress and results. Safety procedures, job safety analysis (JSA), safe‑work permits and plant safety programs are mandatory.
Key Job Responsibilities- Repair equipment according to standard engineering practices and OEM technical manuals.
- Read and understand schematics, multi‑meter & ammeter utilization, 3‑phase and single‑phase motor control, PLC & ladder logic, soldering, power‑tool application, welding, threading, gearboxes, sprockets, belts, pneumatics and hydraulics.
- Diagnose, repair and maintain all manufacturing and associated service equipment, identifying root cause of problems.
- Maintain pneumatic and hydraulic system controls and components.
- Rebuild equipment (rewiring, motor replacement, ball‑screw, rails, bearings, encoders, PCBs, switches, relays, timers) and calibrate after overhaul.
- Work from prints, sketches, schematics, equipment manuals or verbal instructions to adjust, align and fit equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance, including inspection, repair and lubrication of all manufacturing equipment and processes per plant‑wide program.
- Use equipment manuals or verbal instructions to adjust, align and fit intricate equipment.
- Utilize basic CNC processing and test equipment for diagnostics and corrections of defective components.
- Review work orders and document completion.
- Calibrate manufacturing equipment and robots according to OEM guidelines.
- Interact with staff in all plant departments, outside vendors and service engineers.
- Attend technical training sessions to upgrade skills and knowledge of increasingly complex equipment and processes.
Associate degree or equivalent in industrial maintenance or related discipline and 3–5 years of maintenance repair experience in a manufacturing facility.
