Here at Westfall Technik we pride ourselves on being ta fast growing Plastic Injection Manufacturing Company in the USA and soon Globally While many companies outsource their work we believe in keeping our jobs in the US We currently support over 1100 employees across 11 facilities in the US and we are still growing At our Asheboro NC facility we invest in our people Our overall success is largely contributed to our employees skills and talents that have been impactful and essential to the growth of our business Here youll get the opportunity to test your knowledge and skills and become a critical player within Westfall We want you to view your time at Westfall as an investment to your future We are currently seeking Tooling Technician with the below qualifications Professional Attributes Clear reporting of tool status and issues to production and engineering teams effective collaboration with machinists and maintenance personnel Able to explain tooling changes setups and preventive actions in teams meetings supports documentation for tooling reviews and audits Skilled in using CADCAM software and tooling management systems Familiar with CNC machine interfaces and measurement tools Use wear data and production feedback to optimize tool performance Desired Skills and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required Technical degree or certification in Tooling Machining Manufacturing Technology or a related field preferred Minimum of 3 5 years of experience as a Tooling Technician Mold Technician or similar role in a manufacturing environment Hands on experience in injection molding or related processes and tooling systems Experience with mold repair preventive maintenance and tooling setup is essential Strong mechanical and technical aptitude with a deep understanding of tooling molds and machining techniques Proficient in using precision measurement tools eg micrometers calipers CMMs to check tooling accuracy
