Process Technician

• Responsible for machine start ups
• First response to all machine and secondary equipment alarms
• Assist toolroom in changing of cavities slides or cores as needed
• Analyze and make recommendations for improving tools
• Maintain a clean safe work area and perform all job responsibilities in compliance with company safety policies and procedures
• Ensure machines and robots are running at maximum efficiency
• Troubleshoot mold problems
• Responsible for the consistent and accurate completion of paperwork
• Responsible for mold changing activities
• Responsible for maintaining the appearance of all molds and other equipment
• Report to Shift Supervisor any Issues requiring attention

Desired Skills and Experience

• Knowledge and application of scientific molding principles
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting methodology
• Prior knowledge of materials equipment function processing and machine operation in Injection Molding
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency at reading interpreting and utilizing all machine product and work order documentation along with blueprints
• Proficient with Mold setup activities working with Maintenance on problems and use of state of the art controls on machines and robot automation
• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six years related experience andor training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
