We are currently seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for a manufacturing environment in Asheboro, NC. The ideal candidate will be a strong, hands‑on leader with previous experience supervising employees in manufacturing, production, construction, fabrication, warehouse, or a similar industrial environment. This position requires someone who can effectively lead a team, coordinate daily workflow, maintain productivity, enforce safety and quality expectations, and work closely with employees and management to meet production goals.
Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate daily production operations and workflow.
- Assign daily job responsibilities and ensure work is completed efficiently.
- Lead, train, coach, and support production employees.
- Monitor employee performance, attendance, productivity, and quality.
- Ensure employees follow company policies and safety procedures.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
- Coordinate labor, materials, tools, and equipment according to production needs.
- Assist with onboarding and training new employees.
- Identify and resolve production or workflow issues.
- Communicate effectively with employees and management regarding production needs and concerns.
- Help ensure production schedules, quality standards, and project deadlines are met.
- Previous supervisory, lead, or management experience required.
- Previous experience leading teams in a manufacturing, production, construction, fabrication, warehouse, or industrial environment strongly preferred.
- Strong leadership and employee-management skills.
- Experience with scheduling, workflow coordination, training, and productivity management.
- Strong understanding of workplace safety and quality expectations.
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working in a hands‑on industrial environment.
- Ability to effectively resolve problems and make decisions in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and ability to lead by example.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred due to the workforce.
