Asheboro, NC area client is looking to hire NPs and PAs for Hospitalist work! Can live in Greensboro, NC.
The client is looking for an experienced and caring Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Hospitalist to provide quality care to our patients. You will review patient files upon admission, address immediate health concerns, and help determine the best short- and long-term treatment options. In collaboration with our hospitalist team, you examine patients in our acute care wing, modify treatment or medications when necessary, and ensure your patients receive excellent care from our staff.
Ideal candidate has at least two years of experience in acute care and an extensive background in the management of chronic illnesses.
Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Hospitalist Duties and Responsibilities- Examine patients and review medical history upon admission
- Provide immediate treatment when necessary
- Collaborate with hospitalist staff to determine long-term treatment options
- Make rounds and treatment modifications when required
- Nurse Practitioner:
Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing Practice, active NC RN license, national board certification (ACNP preferred), and eligible for/active North Carolina license. - Physician Assistant:
Graduate of accredited PA program, active NCCPA certification, and eligible for/active North Carolina licenses. - Experience:
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in internal medicine, hospitalist, or acute care settings. - BLS CPR certification
11pm to 7am 7 days on 7 days off; no call
