The DWI Facilitator is responsible for facilitating assigned DWI education and/or treatment-related group services in accordance with R&C Consulting Group, Inc. policies, applicable North Carolina DWI requirements, program curriculum, and clinical direction. The Facilitator provides structured education, promotes client accountability and behavioral change, maintains accurate documentation, and supports clients throughout their assigned program.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Facilitate DWI education and/or treatment groups according to the approved curriculum and assigned service level.
- Create a professional, respectful, confidential, and supportive group environment.
- Educate clients regarding alcohol and other drug use, impaired driving, risk factors, consequences, decision-making, and behavioral change.
- Encourage active client participation and meaningful discussion.
- Monitor attendance, participation, engagement, and progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely attendance records, service notes, progress notes, and required program documentation.
- Complete required DWI forms and documentation in accordance with agency and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality of all client information and records.
- Communicate client concerns, attendance issues, behavioral concerns, and potential clinical needs to the appropriate supervisor.
- Follow established procedures for clients who miss sessions or do not meet program requirements.
- Assist with orientation, program expectations, completion requirements, and discharge procedures.
- Provide appropriate referrals or coordinate with clinical staff when additional behavioral-health or substance-use services are indicated.
- Participate in staff meetings, supervision, training, and quality-improvement activities.
- Maintain current knowledge of applicable DWI program requirements, agency policies, and substance-use service standards.
- Perform other duties related to DWI programming as assigned by the Clinical Director or supervisor.
- Maintain professional boundaries with clients.
- Treat all clients with dignity and respect.
- Demonstrate cultural awareness and sensitivity.
- Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Protect confidential client information.
- Document services accurately and objectively.
- Work collaboratively with clinical and administrative staff.
- Follow the scope of practice and credentials applicable to the position.
- Seek supervision when a client situation exceeds the Facilitator's role or level of training.
Documentation should accurately reflect the services provided, including attendance, participation, topics addressed, client response, progress, barriers, referrals, and other information required by the applicable program and R&C policies.

Qualified Professionals, clinicians, administrative staff, peer support staff, and other members of the R&C Consulting Group, Inc. team.
