At Lambert's Cable, as a Lead Warehouse Technician, you’ll keep everything running smoothly by managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods. You’ll ensure orders are filled accurately, track inventory, and follow safety and packaging guidelines, all while working with equipment and handling materials to support the team.

• You will conduct inspections and prepare periodic audits as needed
• You will resolve shortages and manage packaging material restocking needs
• You will prepare and verify orders for shipment according to pick tickets and customer requirements
• You will check and verify inventory to ensure availability of needed stock
• You will package and ship products according to packaging guidelines and practices
• You will stock shelves in the warehouse and put away new materials
• You will organize pick tickets and cross-check them with packing slips and work orders
• You will receive, unload, and inspect shipments; confirm accuracy with packing slips and purchase orders
• You will operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift for loading and unloading materials
• You will work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/after hours responsibilities as needed
• You will execute other duties as assigned

• You will need to be 18 years of age or older
• You will need authorization to work in the United States for this company
• You will need Forklift experience (Certification preferred)
• You will need a high School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• You will need a valid State driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
• You will need to be able to pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card
• You will need experience operating a forklift and pallet jack
• You will need five years of experience in warehouse or material handling
• You will need knowledge of computer and inventory control systems

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely
  : work alone in remote locations, operate vehicle, bend, stoop, stand, walk, lift up to 55 pounds, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, climb stairs, use keyboard and mouse
• Occasionally
  : work in confined spaces or remote locations with arms above shoulder level, lift greater than 55 pounds, squeeze, fine hand motion, and use portable ladder
