Department Detail –The Guest Services Department maintains the standard of Servant Hospitality of The Billy Graham Training Center at the Cove (BGTC). Guest Services manages facility usage and service coordination to support all events. Our commitment is to ensure guests experience Servant Hospitality during their time at The Cove.
Job Summary – The Facility Support Associate performs facility management functions supporting the operations of the Guest Services Department. Ministry Requirements- Maintains a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ
- Faithfully upholds BGEA in prayer
- Participates in daily BGEA staff devotions including Bible reading, and leading group prayer as schedule permits
- Demonstrates behavior aligned with BGEA’s Mission Statement, Statement of Faith, Hallmarks, policies, and expectations
- Effectively represents Jesus Christ to those within both personal and professional spheres of influence
- Assists with managing maintenance and aesthetics appearance of the Training Center
- Assists with maintaining inventory of supplies at the Training Center
- Assists with maintaining order and usage of all storage spaces
- Assists with timely, proper setup of meeting rooms for events at the Training Center
- Assists with shipping/receiving and package/mail distribution to departments
- Assists guests as needed
- Transports guests on property as needed
- Other duties as assigned by the Guest Services Supervisor (Hospitality and Facility Sup-port)
- Ability to relate to people well, being approachable, as well as have the ability to manage administrative tasks simultaneously
- Ability to communicate verbally and in written form with staff of all levels of the association, as well as guests
- Experience with or capacity to learn Microsoft Office suite, with particular strength in Excel, Word and Outlook
- Ability to work with basic tools
- Knowledge in basic maintenance skills
- Excellent organizational skills, with strong attention to detail

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team while demonstrating flexibility when priorities change
