Location: North Carolina (travel required)
The Foster Care Case Manager coordinates services and resources for youth and families and provides ongoing supervision, training, and support to foster parents. This position ensures compliance with licensing and service standards while maintaining accurate and timely documentation for assigned foster homes and children.
Successful candidates must demonstrate strong time management and organizational skills in order to manage documentation deadlines, home visits, and on-call responsibilities effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate admission, treatment, and discharge services for children and families
- Prepare and maintain required documentation, including treatment plans, contact logs, quarterly reviews, supervision notes, and discharge summaries
- Conduct regular home visits with foster parents and individual visits with children
- Provide supervision, training, and ongoing support to foster families
- Review Medication Administration Records (MARs) and medication grids twice monthly
- Facilitate Child and Family Team Meetings and collaborate with social workers and other professionals
- Provide crisis intervention and participate in weekday, weekend, and holiday on-call rotation
- Monitor foster homes for ongoing compliance with licensing standards, including quarterly reviews
- Represent the agency in court hearings, treatment reviews, and community meetings

Qualifications- Qualified Professional (QP) designation with children – required
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related human services field
- Minimum of two (2) years of related experience
- Strong time management, organization, and documentation skills required
- Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and meet regulatory deadlines
- Valid North Carolina driver’s license and active auto insurance required
