Construction Services Project Manager – Asheville, NC

HDR seeks a Construction Services Project Manager to join our Water Business Group in Asheville, NC. The role focuses on water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, pipelines, and related infrastructure. The Project Manager will conduct constructability reviews, lead construction administration, coordinate with contractors and utilities, and manage technical specifications and design drawings. They will also direct construction administration staff, handle client management activities, and support the North Carolina Water/Wastewater team.

This position is subject to a preemployment drug test.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Construction Science or closely related field or equivalent work experience
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in various aspects of construction planning and management, including field engineering, construction submittals, estimating, scheduling, and site safety
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Experience with construction management software such as Procore, Prolog, Primavera, Bluebeam, etc.

• PE or ability to obtain in North Carolina within 6 months (preferred but not required)
• Experience in the construction and/or design area
• Experience with water/wastewater projects primarily focused on treatment plants, pump stations and pipelines
• Excellent communication skills and thrive working in a team environment
