Superintendent

The Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The role involves coordinating with various teams, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

• Oversee daily operations on construction sites and ensure adherence to project schedules
• Coordinate and supervise construction activities for commercial projects and fire station facilities
• Manage subcontractors and labor teams to ensure efficient workflow and quality standards
• Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with local regulations
• Monitor project budgets and costs, providing regular updates to project management
• Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress and address any issues promptly
• Facilitate communication between project stakeholders including clients, architects, and engineers
• Prepare reports on project status, including challenges and forecasts for completion

Qualifications include:

• Proven experience as a Superintendent or similar role in construction management
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and building codes
• Experience in commercial construction and fire station projects is highly desirable
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in project management software and tools
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred
