Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) Inspector to monitor and document construction activities across various project sites. This role requires hands-on fieldwork and a strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in at least two of the following inspection categories:
Roadway, Bridges, Drainage, Erosion & Control, or Maintenance & Traffic. The CEI Inspector will be responsible for ensuring compliance with project specifications, submitting daily work reports, and collaborating with contractors and engineers. Candidates with a background in materials testing who are looking to transition into inspection are encouraged to apply. This is a full-time, field-based role with opportunities for overtime (time and a half after 40 hours).

The position may also involve ITS-related work (signals and fiber), and candidates with IMSA certifications are highly desirable.
