Qualified Candidates- Board certified or board eligible in pediatrics
- Primarily a Pediatric Hospitalist role with potential coverage of the Newborn Hospitalist service line as needed

Mission Children’s is the region’s only children’s hospital covering western North Carolina with 60 pediatric subspecialists in 23 different disciplines.
- 51‑bed, Level‑III NICU staffed by our Neonatology team
- 34‑bed Mother Baby Unit
- 19‑bed Pediatric Unit
- 9‑bed PICU staffed by our Pediatric Intensivist team
- Opportunity to work with MAHEC Family Medicine Residents and UNC Medical Students
- Strong MFM program and new MFM Fellowship; good relationships with OBs and MAHEC OB/GYN Residency
- An average of 3,000 patient admissions to our pediatric inpatient units
- Approximately 4,000 deliveries per year
- Approximately 4,500 pediatric surgeries, and 14,000 pediatric visits to our emergency department per year
- Dedicated infant transport team serving a 55‑county area
