Job Description Summary

Looking to fill this position immediately.

Instruction of both the lecture and lab sections of Anatomy and Physiology courses. An instructor in this position will plan and teach courses in the format needed by the department, which may include face-to-face/traditional, or online delivery. They will possess the knowledge and skills to effectively teach and support college students across a variety of institutional formats.

Duties

1. Use Moodle as learning management system to conduct the course.

2. Teach courses in 8 or 16-week terms using diverse teaching methods.

3. Maintain records for attendance, submit grades, and stay current with planned course outcomes and assignments.

Minimum Requirements

1. Master's degree in biology or in a related field with 18 hours of biology graduate coursework.

Preferred Qualifications

1. College teaching experience in Anatomy and Physiology courses.

2. Familiarity with Moodle or another online teaching platform.
