Job Description

Position Title: Substitute Teacher

Description/Duties: This position works with K-8 students depending on the need. Responsibilities include following the teacher's lesson plans, supervising kids on playground and playing games with kids, helping with classwork, and working in a fast paced and high energy environment. Candidate should be able to relate to kids and engage with them while maintaining safety, appropriate boundaries, and discipline.

Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent/GED

  • Experience working in classrooms.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion
  • Experience in working with/promoting a diverse environment

Hours: 8:00-2:45

Wages/Salary: Living Wage Certified: $20.10/hour.
