Plan, organize, and present instruction that supports students’ learning and social development. Coordinate and direct teacher assistant activities. Report to the principal.

• Management of Instructional Time: Prepare materials and equipment before lessons, start class promptly, and keep students on task.
• Management of Student Behavior: Establish rules and procedures for verbal participation, movement, and routine administrative matters, and enforce them consistently while maintaining student dignity.
• Instructional Presentation: Review previous material, set objectives, deliver content clearly, provide examples and demonstrations, assign tasks, pace instruction, transition smoothly, and summarize key points.
• Instructional Monitoring of Student Performance: Set clear standards and deadlines, circulate during class work, use oral and written assessments, and pose questions one at a time.
• Instructional Feedback: Give timely feedback on in‑class and out‑of‑class work, affirm correct responses and provide constructive feedback for incorrect or no responses.
• Facilitating Instruction: Develop and revise instructional plans based on curricular goals and diagnostic information, maintain accurate records, and match objectives with appropriate instructional strategies.
• Interacting Within the Educational Environment: Treat all students fairly, work effectively with students, co‑workers, parents, and community, and provide a culturally diverse learning environment.

• Carry out duties assigned by the principal and non‑instructional tasks as needed.
• Adhere to applicable laws, policies, and regulations.

Graduate from a 4‑year accredited college education program or have alternative qualifications approved by the State Board.
