The Key School at Carolina Day School is seeking a passionate, experienced Multisensory Language Comprehensive Teacher to join our Key Middle School team for the 2026–2027 academic year. This is more than a teaching position; it’s an opportunity to transform how students experience language, literacy, and their own potential.

The Key School is a nationally recognized leader in the field of dyslexia education, situated on the campus of CDS. We are dedicated to supporting bright students with dyslexia and language-based learning differences. Accredited by the Orton-Gillingham Academy and multisensory instruction, the program helps students build confidence, strengthen skills, and thrive academically through individualized, research-based teaching.

As a Key Middle School Language Comprehensive Teacher, you will help students become confident readers, writers, and thinkers while working collaboratively with a dedicated team.

• Deliver engaging, multisensory, Orton-Gillingham-based instruction
• Differentiate for diverse learning profiles
• Collaborate with colleagues to support student success
• Serve as an advisor to students
• Engage in ongoing professional development
• Uphold high teaching standards
• Flexibility to take on other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success and growth of Key School

• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience
• Training in Orton-Gillingham and multisensory instruction
• Experience with students with dyslexia
• Commitment to lifelong learning

• Other duties as assigned, such as supervision duties and support of students
