Job Description Summary
Coordinates and facilitates training and related activities for the industry Customized Training Program (NCEdge), serving as a primary point of contact for industry clients and internal stakeholders. Works directly with clients to identify training needs, develop and follow project plans, coordinate schedules, and ensure successful delivery of customized training activities. Coordinates instructors, third-party instructors, adjuncts, training facilities, equipment, vendors, contracts, and class documentation in collaboration with A-B Tech staff.
Maintains training equipment and supply inventories, coordinates facility and equipment use, and conducts tours and outreach activities for industry partners, students, and community stakeholders. Monitors training activities to ensure alignment with client needs, program requirements, and established timelines. Maintains accurate records and documentation, supports program marketing and recruitment efforts, contributes to continuous improvement of training services, and travels locally as required to support industry clients and training activities.

1. Serves as the primary point of contact for Customized Training projects and maintains communication with clients and key stakeholders.
2. Coordinates training schedules, project plans, instructors, vendors, contracts, and class setup.
3. Assists with curriculum development, instructional materials, activities, assessments, and classroom preparation.
4. Coordinates training registration and ensures accurate completion of required documentation and records.
5. Assists with training, funding requests, project budgets, financial documentation, and year-end reporting.
6. Works with the Director, Business Office, and EWD staff to ensure projects meet funding and state requirements.
7. Maintains project records, inventories, supplies, and other program resources.
8. Builds and maintains client relationships and facilitates project status meetings.
9. Assists with facility tours, orientations, job fairs, and other workforce development activities.
10. Participates in professional development for the department and college-wide.
11. Contributes to the College Vision, Mission, Values, and RISE statement.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.
