Job Description Summary
Teach a full range of technical skills and principles relative to baking and pastry arts.
Duties
Teach a full range of technical skills and principles relative to Baking and Pastry Arts. Apply and maintain sanitation and safety standards and uniform requirements in the classroom and lab environments. Maintain accurate records in required format for audit purposes. All classes are taught on the Main Campus. Classes may be day or evening.
- Associate degree in Baking and Pastry Arts, Culinary Arts or related field;
- Three years professional culinary experience working at upscale facilities in the capacity of Pastry Chef or Executive Pastry Chef;
- Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
- Evidence of Baking and Pastry competency, which may include ACF certifications as Certified Working Pastry Chef or Certified Executive Pastry Chef, verification by success in ACF sanctioned competitions…
