Position

Purpose:

Under the general supervision of the School Principal, the Spanish Teacher provides specialized instruction for the purposes of developing Spanish proficiency in speaking, reading and writing while utilizing appropriate differentiated techniques and strategies. Alternative Licensed Pathways: If you are offered a position with BCS, our licensure specialist can share information on the 1-year Emergency License and later work with you to convert this to a Residency License.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• 18 semester hours of relevant coursework
• 2.7 GPA (undergraduate coursework or post-graduate coursework)
• Ability to produce an official, degree dated transcript from an accredited university
• Former Lateral Entry license candidates are eligible to apply
