Salary Range: $85,700 - $120,000

This range represents the typical entry range; offers may vary based on qualifications, experience, internal equity, and other factors.
- Design tooling, fixturing, and training objects using PTC Creo Parametric & Windchill.
- Execute the full lifecycle of manufacturing design engineering projects from concept through deployment and maintenance.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, manage timelines, and ensure projects stay within budget.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the team.
- Troubleshoot complex issues, optimize performance, and stay current with industry trends and technologies.
- Collaborate with engineers across the Nuclear Security Enterprise on MCAD and related topics.
- Collaborate and assist product engineering in digital thread activities and other identified areas.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with at least five years of experience, or Master’s degree with at least two years of experience, or Doctoral degree in a relevant field.
- Equivalencies to education/experience will be considered.
- Working experience with PTC Creo Parametric version 8 or later.
- Experience with tooling, fixturing, or equipment design.
- Experience with advanced drafting techniques.
- Experience with Windchill 11.1 or later.
- Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing per ASME Y14.5 and Y14.43, including training in GD&T.
- Experience with additive manufacturing.

SRNS conducts pre-employment drug and alcohol testing and background review, including checks of references, credit, criminal history, and education verifications. Positions may require a DOE L or Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. Clearance decisions depend on review results and other factors.
