• Technical responsibility for the mechanical design of exhaust aftertreatment systems
• Generation of project‑specific layout, approval and production drawings
• Regular collaboration with steelwork suppliers
• Technical support of sales, project management, purchasing, quality, and service
• Initiate and manage development projects and actively participate in project teams
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and guidelines (UL, ASME, AWS, DIN, EN, ISO, …)
• Contribute to product development and product standardization efforts
• Support Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis/ Hazard and Operability analysis

• Successfully completed degree in system/ mechanical engineering or comparable
• At least 5 years of professional experience as CAD design engineer
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software for mechanical design; experience in Autodesk Inventor is an advantage
• Familiarity with PDM/PLM and structured BOM management
• Relevant experience in steelwork design, in particular welding constructions
• High degree of autonomy and reliability
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Hands‑on mentality and a structured and methodical way of working
• Travel activity: less than 5 %
