- Technical responsibility for the mechanical design of exhaust aftertreatment systems
- Generation of project‑specific layout, approval and production drawings
- Regular collaboration with steelwork suppliers
- Technical support of sales, project management, purchasing, quality, and service
- Initiate and manage development projects and actively participate in project teams
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards and guidelines (UL, ASME, AWS, DIN, EN, ISO, …)
- Contribute to product development and product standardization efforts
- Support Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis/ Hazard and Operability analysis
- Successfully completed degree in system/ mechanical engineering or comparable
- At least 5 years of professional experience as CAD design engineer
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software for mechanical design; experience in Autodesk Inventor is an advantage
- Familiarity with PDM/PLM and structured BOM management
- Relevant experience in steelwork design, in particular welding constructions
- High degree of autonomy and reliability
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Hands‑on mentality and a structured and methodical way of working
- Travel activity: less than 5 %
