About the Role

Responsible for end‑to‑end product development across diverse engineering applications, including design, development, testing, and implementation of mechanical systems and components. Collaborates with global offshore teams and cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.

Job Duties
  • Coordinate with offshore engineering teams to ensure smooth execution of global product development projects.
  • Design and develop mechanical systems and components that meet specified technical and business requirements.
  • Perform product verification through testing to ensure reliability, safety, and overall performance standards.
  • Develop project plans, risk management strategies, and execution frameworks aligned with business processes.
  • Conduct value analysis and cost optimization studies to identify quality‑neutral cost reduction opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate engineering designs across multiple disciplines effectively.
  • Support regulatory compliance processes by working with teams to secure necessary product certifications.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with significant industry experience in product development.
  • Proven experience designing mechanical systems such as laboratory equipment, appliances, or control systems.
  • Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals, including thermodynamics, mechanics, and materials science principles.
  • Experience in risk assessment, project planning, and execution within structured engineering environments.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with global teams and cross‑functional stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills for managing complex engineering challenges.
  • Knowledge of project management tools and ability to manage scope, schedule, cost, and quality requirements.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards such as UL, FDA, or CSA certifications is highly advantageous.
