Construction Services Project Manager - (193738)

The Construction Services Project Manager will perform constructability reviews of project designs and lead projects during the construction administration phase. The work will include water and wastewater treatment plants, water transmission pipelines, water pump stations, wastewater collection systems, wastewater pump stations, and related infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities include coordinating with contractors, sub-consultants, and utility owners; coordinating technical specifications and design drawings with the design and construction team; and performing office and field services during construction. The Project Manager will also direct construction administration services staff and perform client management activities to support our North Carolina Area-based Water/Wastewater team.

Preemployment drug test required.

Preferred Qualifications
  • PE or ability to obtain in North Carolina within 6 months (preferred but not required).
  • Experience in the construction and/or design area.
  • Experience with water/wastewater projects primarily focused on treatment plants, pump stations and pipelines.
  • Excellent communication skills and thrive working in a team environment.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Construction Science or closely related field or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in various aspects of construction planning and management, including field engineering, construction submittals, estimating, scheduling, and site safety.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with construction management software such as Procore, Prolog, Primavera, Bluebeam, etc.
  • Active participation in our employee‑owned culture is a must.
