Tender​/Quotation Specialist – Low Voltage Motor Control Centers

Responsibilities

• Create and complete bids, estimations, and quotations based on customer specifications, requirements, or budget.
• Formulating competitive bids, estimates, and quotations by considering the best available product mix and appropriate technical and commercial aspects for each situation.
• Creating well‑documented tenders in a timely manner and with an appropriate level of detail, including full and accurate costs.
• Managing the preparation of technical, financial, and, if required, project management aspects of the bid, estimate, and quotation, indicating prices and trading conditions.
• Ensuring that inputs for editing activities related to bid, estimate, and quotation preparation are provided in a timely manner and in accordance with the established quality procedures.

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent / similar fields)
• Must possess technical background within ANSI/IEC low voltage switchgears and/or motor control centers (if not in those specific products, then experience within packaging, services, electrification and/or distribution systems)
• 5+ years of relevant experience in engineering, sales, quotations, proposals, manufacturing
• Candidates with prior proposals experience are strongly preferred
• Proficient with MS Word, AutoCAD, Excel, SharePoint and preferably programming skills (macros, java, Power Apps, etc)
• Candidates must already possess authorization to work for ABB in the US.
