National Finance Company, Inc. is a small, family‑owned consumer finance business with 24 locations throughout North Carolina. We make small loans to help people meet their financial needs. We offer a competitive starting wage plus the opportunity to earn quarterly and other bonuses. To encourage teamwork and the sharing of responsibilities our quarterly performance bonuses are based on the entire office’s performance and are determined using realistic and achievable goals. Some of our employees earn over $12,000 a year in bonuses! We also pay periodic bonuses for fun events like our annual employee Halloween contest.
Because we understand the importance of family, our standard work week is just 35 hours (Monday through Friday from 9 am – 5 pm with an hour for lunch). We also offer vacation and sick pay, on top of an average of 10 paid holidays a year.

Title:Customer Service Representative
Job Summary
A CSR is responsible for maintaining customer service per company standards, soliciting business from new and current customers, taking applications, processing loans, taking payments, filing customer documents and maintaining customer folders, communicating with customers regarding their accounts, and maintaining a safe, clean office environment.
SupervisionCSR’s are under direct supervision of an Office Manager. They also report to an Area Supervisor and Vice‑President of Operations.
Job Tasks, Responsibilities, and Authorities Tasks- Greet customers and answer the telephone courteously and identify yourself by name
- Take payments from customers
- Maintain cash drawer
- Solicit business from new and existing customers
- Process loan applications
- Use system software to calculate payments, renewal balances, payoffs
- Market and sell ancillary products
- Guide customers in properly filling out forms
- File forms and maintain customer folders
- Communicate with potential customers about status of loan applications and with existing customers about their loan and payment status
- Generate customer mailings
- Make daily bank deposits
- Clean and maintain office
- Follow Company policies per Employee Handbook and additional policies set forth by Management
- Report to work per assigned schedule
- Respect direction of Office Manager who is fully responsible for operation of your location
- Follow all local, state, and federal laws
- Report problems or misconduct, known or suspected, by other employees to your supervisor or upper management
9 AM – 5 PM;
Monday thru Friday with one hour lunch break, may clock in at 8:30 for additional hours
- 9 AM – 1 PM on three (3) Saturdays in December
Avg hours per week: 35 hours
Overtime: __ Never X Occasional __ Often; must be pre‑approved by Manager
Max hours: 3 per week
Work environment:
Shared office space with coworkers
- Beginning range of $14 to $16 per hour plus opportunity to earn quarterly performance bonuses

High school diploma or equivalent
ExperiencePrior experience working in consumer finance business preferred and/ or prior experience as a cashier
- Number of years: 1 year
Current, valid driver’s license;
Basic computer skills
Lift and move up to 50 lbs.
