The Relationship Business Banking Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Asheville, NC. This role focuses on building and managing relationships with small and mid-sized business clients, understanding their financial needs, and recommending appropriate banking solutions. The specialist will consult with clients on deposit accounts, lending options, and treasury management services, while coordinating with internal partners to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery.

Daily responsibilities include proactive outreach, portfolio reviews, responding to client inquiries, and resolving service issues in a timely, professional manner. The role also involves monitoring account activity, identifying opportunities for growth, supporting risk management and compliance requirements, and contributing to local business development efforts.

• Candidates should possess strong Business Relationship Management skills to develop, maintain, and grow business client portfolios.
• Candidates should possess Treasury Management and Finance skills to advise clients on cash flow, payment solutions, and other banking products.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to interact clearly, professionally, and responsively with clients and colleagues.
• Relevant experience in business banking, commercial banking, or financial services is beneficial.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in banking, with attention to detail and sound judgment, is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience, is advantageous.
• Proficiency with banking systems, CRM tools, and standard office software, along with the ability to learn new technologies quickly, is beneficial.
