Position Summary:The primary duties of this position are to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the facility’s Social Service department according to federal, state, and local guidelines.
Skills and Abilities:The ideal candidate will possess good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with the facility’s residents and work with staff members to ensure residents’ needs are met on an individual basis.
- Experience with the needs of SNF/LTC residents and MDS 3.0 is required.
- BSW preferred, but not required unless state regulations specify otherwise.
- The candidate should have a minimum of two years' experience in a supervisory role in a hospital, nursing care facility, or related medical setting.
- Must be fully vaccinated.
