Join a fast-paced diagnostic imaging team in Asheville, North Carolina (28801). This travel Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) assignment is ideal for an ARRT-certified technologist with strong portable X-ray, OR imaging, and ED trauma imaging experience who can deliver high-quality patient care on evening shift.

- Assignment Dates: 02/02/2026 – 05/04/2026
- Duration: 13-week travel contract (potential to extend)

- Shift: 8-hour evenings
- Shift Hours: 2:00 PM – 11:30 PM

- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,470–$1,580/week
Job Requirements
- Experience: Recent Diagnostic Radiology (X-ray / DX) experience; portable and operating room (OR) imaging experience required
- Certification: ARRT (R) required
- Required Skills:
- Diagnostic radiography across all DX areas, including portable X-ray and OR imaging
- Emergency Department (ED) and trauma imaging proficiency
- Preferred: Fluoroscopy experience
- Work Style: Team-oriented, adaptable, and able to work independently in a high-volume imaging environment
- Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams in accordance with departmental protocols, radiation safety standards, and patient care best practices
- Provide portable radiology support throughout the facility, including urgent and time-sensitive requests
- Support imaging needs in the OR, maintaining sterile field awareness and efficient workflow
- Deliver accurate ED/trauma imaging with strong positioning skills and clear, patient-centered communication
- Prepare, position, and educate patients to ensure comfort, safety, and optimal image quality
- Document exams and complete workflow steps accurately within the facility systems
- Maintain equipment readiness, perform basic troubleshooting, and report issues promptly to support uninterrupted patient care
