Job Summary and Qualifications

As an MRI Technologist, you will operate the MRI scanners to obtain images for use by the physician in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies.   • You will perform procedures to demonstrate sectional anatomic images for interpretations by; or at the request of a licensed practitioner

  • You will exercise professional judgment in the performance of services and maintain a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics

  • You will demonstrate proficiency and knowledge of non‑imaging procedures/skills for all age groups served

  • You will perform procedures efficiently and according to the protocol for radiologic interpretation

  • You may need to lift patients or assist in lifting them on and off the exam table to position for appropriately for procedures

  • You will need to perform MRI procedures at a technical level not requiring direct supervision to keep procedures on schedule with no deviation due to lack of technical expertise

What qualifications you will need:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology Program

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) required

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technology (MRI) or registry eligible

  • Current state licensure as a Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) required

  • Minimum 1‑3 years’ experience in MRI preferred

  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required
