Preferably candidates that are already vetted (BG and DS complete). Client needs an immediate start

CSR experience is ok, as long as they are trainable

Health Requirements
  • TB test – new hire needs proof of a test that was completed in the last 3 months
  • Immunization review that requires proof if immunity of the items below.
  • Tdap vaccine – since the age of 11
  • MMR vaccine x2 or titer immunity to measles, mumps, and rubella
  • Varicella vaccine x2 or titer immunity to varicella
  • Hepatitis B vaccine x3 or titer immunity to Hep B or a signed declination
  • Influenza vaccine – when in season or a signed declination
  • Respirator fit test
Role Summary

Perform environmental service duties that promote a safe, clean, sanitary and aesthetically pleasing environment that contributes positively to the healing process. To do so in a manner that is least disruptive and harmoniously in tune with the goals and needs of visitors, physicians and the staff of other departments. To be considerate, courteous and polite to all who enter the facility, demonstrating the key values and concern and providing assistance as required.

  • Presents a clean environment by emptying and sanitizing waste containers.
  • Oversees disposal process by transporting solid waste to compactors.
  • Promotes recycling by correctly transporting and disposing of cardboard.
  • Supports environmental consciousness by recycling material.
  • Enhances hospital image by cleaning/emptying cigarette receptacles in smoking areas.
  • Maintains equipment functionality by monitoring and cleaning equipment as needed.
  • Uses equipment correctly by following operational instructions.
  • Preserves resources by cleaning equipment after each use.
  • Supports department by notifying supervisor and equipment technician about needed repairs.
  • Protects patients, visitors, staff and building by inspecting and verifying safety of equipment.
  • Assists department and hospital by providing quality services.
  • Maintains accurate records by documenting cleaning actions.
  • Takes initiative by noting and reporting areas requiring additional care or monitoring.
