Travel RN - Telemetry - Progressive Care Unit

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Chest Pain Observation position, requiring a compact or NC RN license and at least one year of recent specialty experience.

Job Details

• Work in the Chest Pain Observation unit within the PCU setting,

• Night shift from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM,

• Focus on cardiac patient population typically experiencing acute chest pain,

• 13-week travel assignment,

• No local candidates will be considered; must live outside a 50-mile radius,

Job Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required,

• Minimum one year of recent PCU or chest pain observation experience required,

• Current AHA or ARC BLS and ACLS certifications required,

• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required,

• Must provide valid US Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration,

• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months,

Additional Information

• Care for cardiac patients under observation for acute chest pain and potential cardiac events,

• Must provide professional references per state requirements (two in FL and MO, one in other states),

• First-time travelers may be considered if all requirements are met,
