We Hire:Direct Support Professionals (DSP s ) willing to make a difference in someone's life by providing companionship, care, and support .
We Need:InReach needs a DSP / PT Employee for a Young Male Individual with Developmental Disabilities in Waxhaw, NC of Union County. This position will provide Community Living & Support Services and Respite Services for a total of approx 15 hours per week.
Services will be in the home
Schedule:Monday thru Friday / (4:30pm to 7:30pm) CLS services
Saturdays (flexible when needed) Respite Services
Pay Rate:$19.50/ hr. and $15.25/hr
(paid Training hours at $8.00/hr)
What You'll Do:Instruction and assistance in home living environments.
Help individual identify and acquire valued social roles.
Facilitat e community integration.
Dispens e medication and monitoring dosages.
Transport and accompany individual to and from day programs, work sites, and community activities.
All InReach applicants must have a high school diploma (or GED), a valid driver's license, and successfully pass a drug screen and background check. One to two years of experience with the I/DD population preferred.
