Travel RN - Telemetry - Progressive Care Unit

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Step-Down (PCU) position working night shifts at a hospital in Asheville, NC, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and an active NC or compact RN license.

Job Details

• Cardiac Step-Down (Progressive Care Unit) in a hospital setting,

• Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM,

• 13-week contract,

Job Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required,

• Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Step-Down / PCU experience required,

• Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start),

• NIHSS certification required,

• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration,

• One professional reference required,

• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months,

Additional Information

• Orientation consists of a 4-hour hospital orientation followed by an 8-hour floor shift,

• RNs are required to wear all navy, all white, or a combination of navy and white scrubs,

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility - local candidates are not eligible,

• Tobacco use is strictly prohibited on all campus properties, including personal vehicles in campus parking areas,
