Facility: Novant Health South Asheville Breast Center
Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Position Type: Full-Time
Work Schedule Details: M-F, 8:00A-4:30P
ResponsibilitiesThis role is responsible for all scanning functions of the dedicated breast center. Ensures necessary staffing, operation and maintenance of equipment, training of other technologists and handles inventory and ordering of supplies.
QualificationsRequirements
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program and ARRT registered
- Must complete required CEU's in a timely manner to ensure Certification(s) remain active
- Certified in Mammography and Breast Ultrasound, in addition to X-RAY
Prior Experience
- Knowledge of diagnostic mammography procedures and standards
- Skilled in operation of equipment of multiple modalities
- 8 years of experience in area of specialization
Special Qualifications
- 2+ years of supervisory experience
