Job Description:
Launch your international hospitality career with Bridge Aspire in 2026! We are seeking passionate Food & Beverage professionals for a 12-month paid residency at a historic, world-class resort in Asheville, North Carolina.

This program is curated by Bridge Aspire for international graduates to gain high-level US management experience under the J-1 Cultural Exchange Visa. You will train at one of the South’s most iconic properties, known for its grand architecture, Blue Ridge Mountain views, and 4-Diamond service standards.

Role & Responsibilities:
  • Rotational Training: You will not be limited to one role. You will rotate through diverse F&B outlets, potentially including Fine Dining, Casual Restaurants, High-Volume Banquets, and In-Room Dining.
  • Service Excellence: Master the art of Southern hospitality and American 4-Diamond service standards while serving an international clientele.
  • Operational Management: Gain exposure to POS systems (Micros/Symphony), inventory control, table management, and event logistics for large-scale weddings and conferences.
  • Cultural Exchange: Improve your professional English while living in "The Paris of the South"—a city famous for its arts, music, and mountain culture.
Position Requirements
College, Less than 1 Year work experience
Qualifications:
  • J-1 Visa Eligibility: You must be a current student OR a recent graduate (within the last 12 months) of a post-secondary hospitality institution outside the United States.
  • Language: Must have Advanced/Fluent English (C1 level).
  • Personality: Warm, outgoing, and eager to connect with guests.
  • Commitment: Must be willing to relocate to Asheville, NC, for the full 12-month duration.
Required Skills:
  • Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene.
  • Ability to carry service trays safely and efficiently.
  • Knowledge of table setting and mise-en-place.
  • Familiarity with restaurant reservation systems is a plus.
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent interpersonal communication.
  • Professional grooming and presentation.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Cultural sensitivity and openness to learning.
Additional Information / Benefits
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Salary: $15.00 per hour
  • Hours: Guaranteed 32-40 hours per week.
